Charcoal in Orchid Bark

ruthvan Oct 16, 2006 11:12 PM

I bought some orchid bark for substrate and it has pieces of charcoal in it about the same size as the bark. Is this going to harm my snake? I know that in aquatic filters it helps neutralize toxins and it was pumped into my dogs stomach when he got into some snail poison so I didn't think it would be harmful but I wanted to check.

Should be fine, as long as they don't eat a stack of it it's no more harmfull than other types of bedding.
