heffner2212 Oct 17, 2006 03:47 PM

Ok well i had the cage coverd half way on the top and the temps were too low the basking was good bout 92 but the cool side was like 72:*( so i had to cover it all the way now the cool side is about 78 thats good but basking around 100 is that too hot i use an overhed heat lamp for heating so i dont think its as hot as it really says since its not like theres a heat pad or nothing plus he has a hide he goes under anyway which is probably a little cooler ion there...what does everyone think?
thanks alot
Mike

Lamps are for lizards, check out some caresheets and get a setup suitable for a boa.
Undercage heat is where its at.
