Lump in throat

jeserlin Oct 17, 2006 04:20 PM

Hello, My 1200 gram female pastel just ate and now she has a lump in her throat. So I figured it was some aspen bedding, so I restrained her and opened her mouth was going to try to take what was ever in there out since the lump isn't that deep in at all. But when I opened up her mouth, I just saw a lot of veins and stuff. I don't know wether I couldn't get a good enough view and just couldnt see the aspen or if maybe she got cut or something in there and it filled up with fluid? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Josh

I know this may be hard, but it would really help if you could post some pics or something...

I think you should take your snake to the vet. If something is lodged in their throat or it's a growth etc, a vet will be much better able to determine what it is and remove it safely. Also be less stressful for your snake.
