Placing baby turtle with older turtle.

GaryM Oct 17, 2006 09:45 PM

How big does a baby red eared slider have to be, before he/she can be placed into a 180 gallon tank with a 12 year old Flordia red belly male turtle?

I would wait until it becomes more the size of the older turtle.
Babies have known to be killed by larger turtles. Sometimes
purposely and sometimes on accident.
