Regular or Motley $?

jasonw Oct 17, 2006 11:35 PM

Recently I have noticed on manny websites Motley Albinos are prised as much as 2/3 higher than regular Albinos. Are Motley Albinos realy worth more then regular Albinos? If so I feel stupid for selling them at the same price this year. Thanks in advance

some places are crazy about $$ but yes, usually motley is more than a regular morph. just because there is something more....like if you had motleys and then stripes... usually the stripes are a hair more than the motleys...

Yes. In most instances, an amel would sell for $20-$25 if you were buying directly from a breeder. An amel motley would be $30-$40.

Thank you for replying. I have been selling mine to the local petstore for $30 each or $25 each if they buy more than one. I think I will rethink my prices now. Thanks a million.

well first off yes in most cases you are right motley would go for more than a regular morph. but then their is the reptile shows i picked this female one up for 25$ but yes it was an unusual score at that price. tim is right on with the prices amel motlies do normaly go for about 15 dollers more than regular amels.
