Rough Green Snakes

GypsyMan Oct 18, 2006 12:36 AM

I was wondering if you can house Adults and Hatchling Rough Scale Green Snakes together in one big Arboreal cage? I have never housed any snakes as adults or babies together before, but was wondering about the Rough Greens. I found a Wild pair in my yard and housed them for the summer, and they had babies. Only 3 out of 5 eggs survived.....and I dont want to let them loose until spring comes around......any suggestions on housing them all together? I couldnt find any info on that subject.I have babies separte now.....jus curious is all.
Thankyou.

I would keep them separate. I generally keep snakes that are the SAME size together, unless it is known to be ophiophagus (eat other snakes).

Good luck with them!
