a question about mites!!!

evercraig190 Oct 18, 2006 04:10 PM

Im thinking of switching my substrate from paper towels to reptibark or eco earth or aspen...my question is how long do i have to clean up the snake sh*t before mites are laid, hatched, formed or whatever...If i clean it the same day, that should be effective enough right?..thanks for the help...and mites are the devil..

I use aspin and Provent-A-Mite. Spray the cage or tub or whatever, put in the beding then spray the beding a little. I try and clean about once a week. Without to much trouble. Provent-A-Mite cost a little bit but I like it.
