The white snake is a "spirited" male.

The orange is an albino female.

The "yellow" animal is a female that is truly flourescent marker yellow/green.

Any idea what I got?

Wow! The white bull looks like a snow but I have never seen one with shades of orange on its back like that so that's neat. Now the yellow one, that's a first for me. I want one! Gimmi gimmie.

In my opinion, what you have is:
1. A really dark orange albino bull
2. A nice snow bull
3. A ghost or hypo white sided bull, that I have seen at times commonly referred to as a " white " bull.

Very pretty bulls.

The yellow bull looks like it has pink eyes though so it would be an albino too right? I would say its definitely white sided, maybe albino-whiteside-hypo-something else?

Albino - nice orange one at that
White snake is hypo albino white sided aka snow
Yellow snake - albino white sided

As many of you know I strongly diagree with calling the hypo albino white sided a snow, but that is what they have been coined for a number of years by many folks. So I guess it is common now.

The yellow animal is a really cool animal in that it shows only the two mutations, but I bet it is carrying the others in there somewhere.

And the albino I bet is also.

If I were going to guess when you breed them together you will get albino, albino white sided, albino hypo white sided, hypo, hypo white sided ( with blue eye caps) and that they originally came from trumbower stock which had all of those mutations.

I am with you on that John, others are too and many more will be within two years as far as labeling these morphs correctly. Next year on the Classifieds we will see "True" Ghosts and Snows. Hopefully people will be able to understand the differences and not be taken pricewise as the new true mutations may fetch a higher price. All the morphs are beautiful though. The more the merrier. So what is a "true" snow and a "true" ghost?

Nokturnel Tom Oct 20, 2006 04:08 PM

Snow = Albino X Anery
Ghost = Anery X Hypo
in other words no White Side is in the mix

you could have a white sided "true snow" or "true ghost". But that'd be three mutations!

Jason Nelson at Envy did produce a true White Sided Ghost this year, if you scroll back a few pages you may find the post. Funny that appeared before a normal blotched but it is really an excellent looking snake Tom Stevens
