Conecting Heat Sources

There has been alot of talk about Flex watt in the past few posts and some of them refer to how to run it. My questions has to do with the thermastat. When I build my new racks I want to run each shelf with it's own strip of Flex watt and I will plug each strip into a power strip. Can I plug the power strip into the thermastat ( either proportional or on/off type)keep in mind I will be going with a cheap type thermastat.
thanks, Blue

From all of the directions I've seen,
if the thermostat/rheostat is the kind you plug into, just plug your power strip into it.

If it's the kind that has to be wired in, cut the cord coming from your power strip, and wire it in between the strip & its plug, then plug it into the wall.
