What kind of Rat is this?

13lackcat Oct 19, 2006 04:13 PM

I found this one, I live in north AL. It appears that it has a broken back, it's kinked and can't move the back half of it's body very well, I'll just see if it'll still be able to function normally. But I don't know whether it's a Gray Rat, Black Rat, or Great Plains Rat. I know the picture isn't the best, but what do you think it is?

Well, you can rule out great plains rat 1st. It looks too dark to be a grey rat and too light to be a black rat...... Is it possibly a "greenish" rat? (cross between a yellow and black)
