naturalistic vivaria

I'm customizing a 90 gallon tank into a wet/dry tropical vivarium. There will probably be approx. 30 gallons of water in it. Can anybody (with experience in this matter) recommend a filtration sytem for it. I can't decide whether to go with a canister filter (for its suction/filtration capacity) or a wet/dry filtration system (for its biological filt. capacity). HELP. Can't decide.

Finaly, something I'm good at!! It depends on what is going to be useing the water feature. I have vivariums that have frogs and I use a very little filter pump combo, I also have a vivarium that houses juvenile NA Wood turtles, it has less water but it has a huge canister type filter. It is going to depend on the mess made in the water.
