There are two recessive morphs available, Hypomelanistic (yes, IN BRB's Hypo is recessive) which are somewhat available and Anerythristic which are mostly not available. Also have been rumors for years of albino BRB's. In addition there are really red onesl, really orange ones and variations of side crescents, even full circles or bullseyes. A few of mine:

"Lefty" the father of all the bullseyes I've produced

4 holdbacks from 2005
BO-M5-08 Bullseye Male "hook"

High Orange "Daisey"

High Red Rusty (The reds just don't really show well in pics)

High Red PE-M5-03

Two hypo's from different sources
Hypo "Dottie" From Too Scaley Reptiles

Hypo "Mickey" from Exotics By Nature

Anery "Tawny" from Brian Sharp

And a group shot. In it are two Hypo's Dottie is more orange and Mickey is mostly toward the right, you can see both have fantastic crescents. Also in there are three normals ( how can I call my holdbacks normals?) towards the left is BO-M5-08, one of my bullseyes, in the middle is SA-PO-01, she has no crescents at all and toewards the right is BU-M5-16, he's one of my holdback males. I love this shot as it shows a LOT of variety in colors/patterns.

this might sound a little silly to some but im not sure and i figured this is a forum so it is the place to ask but is it possible to cross brb with a redtail or any of its morphs ?

rainbowsrus Oct 20, 2006 02:55 AM

Not possible, different species.

Epicrates Chenchria Chenchria vs
Boa Constrictor Imperator

Both considered "boas" but incompatible

ya i know that woma ball is amazing ive also heard of anaconda x red tail cross in one of the interviews posted on the site but rainbows are us makes a valid point aswell is ther any records of anyone trying?

miloradovich Oct 20, 2006 10:23 AM

I have always thought redtail X rainbow to be impossible, but I have seen pictures of Anaconda X rainbow, so if there has been anconda X redtail maybe it is possible?

ya right that must look real nice a anaconda rainbow any pictures you can share? and does anyone know of anyone even attempting across with redtails ?

BelgianBeer Oct 20, 2006 09:10 PM

I do not know of anyone attempting it in my 20 years in herpetoculture. And rightfully so these frankenstein crossbreeds need to stop.

mxer_kx Oct 21, 2006 02:17 AM

heyy thats cool any specific reason you feel that way?

johnavilla Oct 23, 2006 10:18 AM

pretty sure that is a ball X angolan. If not than the number of hybreds is one bigger. Ball X Blood, Ball X Angolan, Ball X Bornio, Ball X Woma?, Ball X Burmese? (some one tried but I don't know if it worked) and Burmese X Reticulated (these have been found wild).

Rainbows and Anacondas are very closely related from what I hear. I thought years ago that that might be a possibility. Any Pics?
