Kings and milks

Will these snakes cross breed? Not being a breeder myself, I found a truly beautiful kingsnake that I'd love to have, and already have an equally beautiful tangerine honduran, and wondered if they might "get cozy"...

If not, I might consider buying a pair of the kingsnakes--they are really quite nice, and the price is right.

Let me know?

They are unlikely to "get cozy" and breed. People who do hybridize snakes generally have to go to some significant effort to trick them into breeding.
This is good, because if they did breed, you would have a bunch of ugly, worthless mutts to dispose of.

The bigger concern is that, depending what ssp. of kingsnake it is, and depending how big it is relative to the Honduran is that it will try and eat the Honduran.

Don't house them together. It is a bad idea for a lot of reasons.

Well, that's what I thought, but I decided I would ask anyway, if only to satisfy my curiosity.

Still haven't found that Eastern MilkSnake in my basement--no time to do that good cleaning down there, but once the bagpipe season dwindles down, I should have more time. I expect that I'll find her curled up somewhere.
