Anery vs Ghost ( how to tell)??

toppy Oct 20, 2006 07:32 AM

I have had several clutches of Anery hondo's and I see very little difference in the appearance of an anery vs a ghost honduran. The ghost seems to have a slightly more - pale color and maybe less tipping and /or smaller black bands. is that about it???

I have had some very clean anery babies that seem close to the pics of the ghost hondurans I have seen. Is it safe to say you would know if you have a ghost due to the fact that the parents are albino X anery or is it albino X hypo???

let me know - feedback would be great

Thanks
Chris

I guess I answered my own question thru looking at the photos.

This is a picture of my anery and tangerine yearling and a photo of a ghost.

I recently read on a post that when a anery sheds it seems to leave some "black tipping" on its shed skin while a ghost does not.You might look at terry dunhams page at "albinotricolors.com at his genetics page for an answer to your other question.

Nice pics by the way
