Last week I took my adult male, Darwin, on an "outing" while I visited a friend and picked up his rat. My order of frozen rats hadn't come in yet, so I got a live one, and went back to the car. My friend was driving, so I sat in the passenger seat with Darwin and opened up the bag the rat was in to peek at how big it was.
Darwin sticks his head up, then lunges INTO the paper bag and proceeds to eat the rat. While we are driving on a bumpy road near construction, using my arm as a brace as he swallows the rat upside down.
I'm thinking geez, he just got fed a couple weeks ago before breeding, I guess he's really worked up an appetite!

This week? Nothin. Wants absolutely nothing to do with whatever rat I offer him. Maybe I should take him for a drive...

Gotta love ball pythons.
