Does a corn wrap around you like a python does? My roommate has a ball python and I think it is cool how it wraps around your arm, do corn snakes do that? do milk snakes?

I can usually take him with me almost anywhere, he'll wrap a couple times around my wrist like a bracelet. One of his favorite places still to this day is my front pocket in my leather jacket. It's a deep pocket he'll crawl into and barely poke his head out. I honestly think he does that because people freak out when they see him stick his head out. But they say snakes don't have emotions lol. I think they've not gotten hold of some of our stories on this board. So in answer to your question, yes they do coil and wrap themselves around you like other snakes, just not as big as others.

The first cornsnake I ever handled did exactly that, wrapping around my forearm and hanging there until whenever. It depends on a lot of things, including the individual snake's personality, its mood, your mood, and just about anything else. Some are uncomfortable with any handling and are always on the move. Some don't mind being handled, but will want to hide in your shirt. Babies are usually too small to wrap around anything but fingers, while large adults may be more comfortable on your head and shoulder.

My Black Rat spent an hour in my shirt sleeve yesterday, poking her head out and taking in her surroundings with what could only be described as interest and curiosity. Snakes are definitely aware of their surroundings, and I believe they are capable of much more complicated interactions than they are usually given credit for.
Enjoy Your Snakes!
