Handful of Paradise

boigamaniac Oct 21, 2006 11:02 AM

Handful of paradise. I recently got 5 but 3 escaped. Fortunately, i managed to catch one back the next day in my flower pot. Still 2 more to go.

A close-up.

And just one new cyanea. Found only in ONE place in Malaysia despite being a Thai snake.

I'm so in love with the Chrysopelea paradisi. I'm assuming they're more or less non-existant in the pet trade, as I'm finding little info on them.

Since they're non-existant and I'm not really in the market for anouther snake at this time aaanyways, I really shouldn't be asking questions...lol...but I gotta quench my own curriousity!

How do these do in captivity? How large do they get? Do they accept rodents or is it mainly a diet of lizards and such? What is their temperment like?

They just might be one of the most beautiful snakes I've seen!
