Woma and Spider comparison

EmberBall Oct 21, 2006 01:10 PM

Anyone have some good pics with a Woma and a Spider togather? I just got in a big shipment of Balls last night, and at first thought I had gotten two Spiders, they look so similar to me. Now that I have looked at them a few times, I can see some subtle differences. Once they have settled in a bit, I will look them over some more, but wow, they do look similar. The Spider is high white, which is the way I tell them apart now.

JUST FOR YOU, I went back and snapped this pic. The Woma tagged me, so thanks for that

Damn man, that is a textbook spider, even with just a top view, and that sure as hell does look like a woma to me.

I take it that when you say that you got a big shipment, that they were CH or WC? If so I believe that would be only the second imported Spider so far, with the other one being the originator of the spider line.

Let's see some more pics, those are some beautiful animals!

NO, they are all CB. I got a Genetic Stripe male, Het Genetic Stripe female, the Woma male, female Spider, female Pinstripe and Axanthic female. By big shipment, I just meant a few animals instead of one or two animals.

Heh, I thought you meant you got a WC shipment too lol.
Nice pics, beautiful animals Dave

Honestly, they both look like spiders to me too. Gorgeous snakes, yes, but to me they look like the same thing... Guess I haven't gotten that "eye" to see the subtle differences yet!

At least you got beautiful animals

The Woma doesn't have the white speckling on the lower sides like a Spider.

So far, I can easily tell the difference between my two, however, the two morphs do share a similar look. My Spider is more of a yellow green base color, with more white on the belly and up the sides. The Woma is lower white on the sides, and more of a brown color.
