Feed them baby crickets, wax worms, try a smaller pellet like zoomed hatchling pellet, and bloodworms usually work.

You might want to consider leaving them inside until they are a couple years old and not have them hibernate. Keep them at a cozy 75-80 degrees F with a electric heater. One for humans works well. Keep offering a wide variety of foods too! Good Luck!

if they eat the shredded shrimp you might try other dead stuff, maybe crickets, earthworms, mealworms, superworms, nightcrawlers, crayfish, minnows. they also eat fruits and veggies, maybe it's the color they like, mine doesn't like the color red, why knows why, but just doesn't. try lots of different things until you find what they will eat. some will eat anything while others will only eat a few things. there is a lot more things you could feed it so dont give up! you could try feeding:carrots, grapes (they like to play w/ these in their tank), squash, zuccini, peas, greenbeans, apples...

that should work, but you can buy bloodworms in little cubes at a store, they are really cheap too. make sure you are using a uba/uvb light and dusting food wit a vitiman/calcium supplement also. good luck w/ the little guys! they are ADORABLE when they are that age.
