I am not a fan of hybrids but this guy is a real looker and no I will not be breeding him to anything...He always makes people look twice...I love the grey/red combo. Bottom pic is him as a hatchling.

I did not breed it, I have thought the same at times, something hypo going on there. As he gets older the black turns more gray and the red gets brighter...definately improving with age. The only background I have on him is that he was bred in S Florida. He was and is a fairly aggressive animal, I guess that is why I got him, no one else wanted a biter and I had never seen another like him. Like I said, I do not plan on breeding him so it will probably remain a mystery.
