Hello. This guy was just turned into our reptile rescue as a Nile, but he looks more like a Savannah to me. Can anyone positively ID him?? Thanks. Fresno Reptile Rescue

He's a real grump in the morning. lol. He hasn't made any attempt to bite but he hisses like a bellows everytime I move him. Mostly he's happy to snooze in a patch of sun on the windowsill or eye the other rescue snakes in the rack.
I gave him a few mice and some raw turkey meat but I read that he would prefer birds. Any idea where I could get ahold of f/t chicks? Also what can I give him as treats? He wasn't too keen on any veggies, but I was thinking of trying bugs to keep him entertained.
