This guy is definately underweight by looking at these pics. Worry more about getting some weight on him or you'll be changing your signature very soon.

Funny thing though, when I went to the pet store to get him, they had a tank with two uros in it they said just came in. They were not as fat as some pics I saw here and th guy said that they were way overweight! Are there some breeds that get fatter than others?
your lizard is skinny. i think the general preference on the forum is to have them nice and plump. my guys are chubby and still active. well from what i hear, helga is now a walking pancake (as in being round, not flat and skinny). i get to see them in one month! i am so excited
still can't bring them back though
anyway, helga was in terrible conditions when i found her. the middle picture is when i got her. terrible color, too too skinny. you can see the "elephant" flap of skin where she should have been filled out on the side. in the top picture, i think a year and a half later, she was much prettier. the bottom is her sleepy little face and a not so good shot of her colors

Thanks for posting that picture Juene, it explains exactly what I based my opinion on. Just looking at the back legs/vent area you can see the difference and why I said Mikes was underweight.

No doubt your could gain a little weight, but it's not THAT skinny. If it doesn't gain steadily though get it checked for worms. Tapeworms or too many nematodes and they won't gain weight very well. They should have some extra skin on the sides because they expand to vent and regulate their temps. If they're too fat they can't expand as well.
I have two WC Malis' and they weren't gaining like they should one had too many nematodes, the other had tapeworm. Once they were treated they got where you could feel the weight as in muscle because they didn't look fat but you could tell the difference.
For one thing the muscles on their legs, especially their back ones should look solid and muscular. If it looks like they have loose skin there you should get them checked out. That is if a good diet doesn't take care of it relatively quick.
You have a very nice Uro and should be proud of it.
