Lighting

BrandonR Oct 22, 2006 10:27 PM

Is there any problem with using a normal light bulb as the light source in the BP's set up or is it recommended to use a commercial basking light by zoomed or exoterra?
If temps stay concistent is it more acceptable?

If its recommended not to, what is the reason?

Thanks all!

bp's do not rely on uva uvb lighting the commercial lightbulb would be an extremly weak heat source anyway, under belly heat is the way to go
