Anyone know what this boldly patterned snake is? I do, but I won't tell for a few days.

CHINESE BUSHMASTER NOT SURE OF SPELLING MANGASHIES

I would guess some sort of Asian viper, but I have never seen those colors. Gorgeous snake, and a beautiful picture!

Zhaoermia mangshanensis?

It is Ermia (Zhaoermia) mangshangensis. I don't know its common name, but Chinese Bushmaster makes as much sense as anything else.

Good job, I guess I'll have to put something harder next time!
