...That is a nice looking snake. I like big husky healthy looking Rainbow Boas like that. She is colored like some of my Peruvian Rainbows.

Glad you like her Jeff. Sometimes I wish she would keep growing. An 8 ft. BRB would be so cool. She is plenty strong though. Last night I had her around my neck as I cleaned her waterbowl and started getting a bit dizzy! She seems to be much stronger than my Carpet Python which is a bit longer.

I see a lot of RB photos here, but that has to be one of my favorites. What a stunning animal.
I'm not a big fan of pale orange rainbows. Those big dark animals are amazing.

Here she is at about 1 yr old:

It's interesting to me how much better she looks as an adult. In the yearling pic, she seems to have a lot of brown. I have a couple I'm raising up that look like this. I hope they redden up as much as she did.

I agree, my BRB is very brown right now, i see all these adults that are bright orange and bright red. I can only hope my little guy gets that stunning.

The BRB in the photo is not super red (the camera may enhance her colors a bit) but her color did improve after about 1 and 1/2 years. I think her crescents actually used to be brighter and proportionally larger, but I still think she's a beauty! I really like the intense blackness of her black markings.

I should mention that the "brown" pic was taken with a different camera and no flash was used. I find that the flash often makes colors brighter.
