size difference in mating

heathn Oct 23, 2006 04:38 AM

I have a question for some of the more experienced breeders. What is the maximum size difference in male and female for breeding? I have a female that is 8.5' and 35 lbs paired with a male who is about 4.5'. I know he is small for her but was the only pairing possible for these two. He is trying but I don't know if he will be able to get around to her. I am not able to post pics because I don't have an account anywhere but could send some in an email. The male is a possible super ghost and the female is an albino. Thank you in advance for any help.

I don't think size matters that much, as long as he is mature enough to breed.

She is 8 years old, he is about 2.5 years. He was born in 2004.

You shouldn't have any problems.

That size difference isn't that terribly dramatic, whats funny is when you see a 3 1/2' male on a similar sized female, its almost comical.

Good luck.
