I feed my Uros f/t green beans, peas, dandelion heads, red millet (I bed them on bird seed mostly millet), sometimes they get a little spinach (I'll hear about that one) I've tried LOTS of things and mine refuse to eat what the care sheets say. (kids never listen, and their reading is rather limited
)
Good luck!!

There are lots of things Uro's will eat that they shouldn't. Just because you feed yours a horrible diet doesn't mean you should tells others too.

Yeah, your right. I suppose I could let them starve to death because they won't eat what you want them to. They get regular vet visits and are perfectly healthy, active, and alert. One of their main staples in the wild is a member of the spinach family. It took a LOT of research to find what they eat in the wild, but I took the time to do it, because they're worth it. I could put the links here, but who cares when you get trashed for posting your opinion.

go to deerfernfarms.com they have a list of things they can eat. my guys prefer bok choy, endive and escarole for greens and peas. they have tastes just like humans so if you are feeding them something they don't like, they won't eat it. uros are very stubborn

Lately, mine hasn't really been turning down much food at all. His favorites (luckily some of the more healthy things for him) have been dandilion greens, bok choy, and collared greens.
But when my guy was acclimating, I had trouble getting him to eat as well. I was told by some of the guys on this forum to use bee pollen to get him eating. That helped out a lot to get him started. Head to a GNC or some sort of nutritional store- they come in tubes of little granules.
Also, my local Whole Foods sells packages of 'edible flowers' for dressing up your human salads and such. He goes nuts for those, but I make sure he only gets a few a month (very stinky poop).
And, as posted above, read the deer fern caresheets, they are very helpful.
