wags2424 Aug 06, 2003 05:00 PM

I just bought my first anoles male female,we're in tank together.Tank is 83 on the left side with plenty of log and leaves to hide.a shallow water dish.Plant on the right for hiding also.I bought them they we're green.Since i bought them home and put them in the tank they've been brown.I'm not sure if they are stressed or cold they shouldn't be.I have a bark mulch floor covering which holds moisture, and mist 3 times a day.Any help would be great!!!

Are they warm enough? Getting enough light? You have to make sure to get a heating lamp.

wow misting 3 times a day is a bit much if you have a water dish in there you shouldnt mist so much, that bark in the bottom of the cage will hold moisture and also create mold which could lead to an upper respitory infection with all that misting. Try misting every other day and see if that helps.
