as a general guide I say females must be over 1200g and 1500g is preferable and males need to be at least 600g with over 750g preferable. Of course there are reports every year of males as small as 350g breeding and some of these actually produce clutches and females as small as 1000g producing small clutches of eggs. Both of those occurances are rare and one shouldn't expect a clutch of eggs if either of the breeding animals are that small.
