ball found outside in va?

I thought it was a ball python when I found it in high brush in a vacent lot near some appartments today....got it home...and have some pics...anyone want to give me a second opinion?

it seems to be doing ok....but if you look at the post of released fluid....Im not to sure Im going to take it to a living museam hopefully tommarrow...dont really know what else to do..

I read that post . It does need to be seen by a vet , It looks young. do you have heat on it now? Let me know what happens..

well it looks like about 36" when strtched out ....the bowl thing in the pic is deceving...and yes i put a light on it

It's a ball python, not poisonous..

If you do take it to someone else, tell them that you have not had it evaluated so maybe they can take it to the vet.

you decide to keep it or have it for any extended period of time check out the care sheet for ball pythons on NERD's website. There is a link at the top of the forum page. Also you should ptu something in the cage that it can hide in.
