Just messing around with the new camera and backgrounds. Where do I get black acrylic that some of you use as a background?

ive been using the black acrylic and glass backgrounds for years and they always look great... Here is an easy trick for you.. if you have a piece of glass, just put a black towel under it, or set it on something jet black and you will get the same effect..

i havent seen anyone using it besides me until matt lerer started using in recently.. Whats up matt..

I've been using black acrylic for awhile.. it's a pretty cool background to make some neat effects. I ordered mine off of ebay. It's not that difficult to work with once you understand the angles and lighting.

You can just buy clear acrylic and paint it on the back side.
