My wife moved our snake and his cage to Mi with her last Saturday. She looked in the cage today and said the temps were only reading 60 and he feels really cold. I'm not there and cannot help her troubleshoot very well. Someone from the forum offered to help out awhile ago, is that offer still good?

in the meantime, time is critical and your wife needs to get those temps up. I'm not a big fan of space heaters but it might be the best short term option to boost the ambient air in the immediate vicinity. If the cage is on a cool floor, get it raised if that's a possibility. Outside of that, perhaps someone living in Michigan from the forum can lend a hand.

My wife took the second half of work off today because she wasn't feling good. On her way home she purchased a smaller, radiator style, oil filled electric heater and placed it under Moses cage. I've used this method before. The heat rises to the metal plate in the cage, installed after removing large soak tub, and the metal plate heats up, therefore the cage heats up. Thanx for the concern, he should be OK.
