Runny stool, help!

Theincentburns Oct 24, 2006 01:27 PM

I have had my Savannah now for about 3 months and it's growing very nicely, sheds when it should, eats like a champ, and is very active and healthy. But I recently made two changes and ever scince his stool has been runny and I am very concerned because I cannot afford a vet bill. First, I switched from feeding him pinky mice to pinky rats, I am thinking maybe that is part of the problem but I am not sure because I'm still learning. I also changed his substrate from sand to woodchips, like the kind in the bag that you get from a pet shop. I am switching back to sand soon because he seems uncomfortable with this.. Bur anyways, could anybody give me some pointers or anything I could try to help him?
