So I remembered reading an article about a ball python that escaped from a classroom in NY in our campus paper (why it was in there I have no idea - I'm in MN). Now they caught it and it's in our paper again. I couldn't find it on our paper's website but I did find it online... I don't blame the snake for trying to escape if they tried to use crickets to catch it.
I like the picture too... but I'm easily amused.

I think it is a miracle it is still alive if they feed it crickets. Looks like he has rubbed his nose raw from trying to get out and search for food. Someone needs to tell them how to care for him properly.

I am assuming that pic is not the actual animal. There is no way to lose an amimal that big for 2 months. They more than likely used that pic to make the story grab your attention.
