she is still alive and dr j says she is a fighter. she still is not walking well but she has gained 5 grams since she has been there and her muscles aren't atrophied. she is also peeling. i am picking her up at 1 tomorrow and i have to give her fluids and this special diet and then on monday we are going to take blood again and see if anything has changed, like if we are helping her. if not, then i have to decide what to do

It seems to be a little more positive that she's putting on weight, if nothing else at this point. I realise it could go either way for you, but I wish you both all the best, I really do....... and hopefully it will be good for her to come home to familiar surroundings too.
