albino vs sunglow sib. albino, thoughts?

johnnyblazekfd Oct 25, 2006 09:53 AM

I currently have a "coral" albino male. Except for the pink "coral" coloring, all of his color in his saddles and most of his color in his tail has faded. I am wanting to get a albino that would at least somewhat retain its color(I know, get a sunglow, but Im not to that point yet). I know that there is a visual difference somewhat between normals and most normal hypo siblings in pattern/crispness/coloring/etc as babies and as adults. does the same apply to albinos? Would a sunglow sib albino retain its pattern/crispness/coloring better than a regular albino? thanks for any replies, please post your thoughts..... Jon

High Contrast Albino, such as those from the Burke's or one of Matt's Red Albinos.

Option two, a Sharp Albino.

Personally I like any of those three over Sunglows, but that's me.

You said you weren't ready for a sunglow yet, I can only assume you mean the cost. Sharps are more than most Kahl Sunglows, but most Kahl Sunglows don't hold their color as adults, they have distinct pattern, but it is dull. The High Contrast Albinos and other high color lines can be competitive in price with low end Sunglows as well. If you want color, it will cost you.
