hypo stillwater vs. golden hypo still...

hypersquid Oct 25, 2006 10:37 AM

what is the difference between a hypo stillwater and a golden hypo stillwater bull, or is there a difference? i was sold a pair of hypo stillwaters, and was told it was the golden phase. does anyone have any pics of these two animals for comparison?

To my knowledge, there is no difference. In other words, there are not two phases of Hypo Stillwaters, one normal and one GOLDEN Hypo Stillwater.

I think the term Golden was used simply as a marketing term. They can be golden, so it is not a term that is "out there" but could be the very basis of your confusion, which is totally understandable. Stillwaters can vary as well, some varying degrees of orange, tan, peach, or golden color.

Here is a really bad pic of mine....lol!

Billy is correct. The term "golden" was placed on a already solid investment animal a few years ago just to generate a few more bucks and to ad to the confusion for many people.
I had some people shy away from my normal hypo stillwaters because they wanted the "golden" stillwaters?LOL...good stuff

My Bad,
after a little research I have found that the term "golden" was put on the hypo stillwaters to not confuse a $150.00 animal with just a normal generic strain that was going for $35.00
My oppologies if I offended anybody.
