Smaller Boas?

jswanson737 Oct 25, 2006 04:36 PM

Can anyone give me some insight into types of boas that don't get too large, when I say too large, I mean, relative in size, to corns, rats, bulls, gophers... I would like to get a start in boas, but also have a girlfriend who has the very tiny dog... so I think I need to start small... haha.

Hogg Island and Nicaraguans are smaller sized boas, they both are beauiful and very different looking than what you would usually see.

About how big do Hog Island and Nicaraguans get? I've been thinking about getting a boa after I saw a beautiful Colombian red tail, but I know it'd get just too big.

Central American, same thing as a Nic. people wanna act like their from different worlds or something:rolleyes:whatever name you choose to believe is still a "FARM BRED" Central American BCI.
Conservitive feeding is the key to smaller adults within this form.No 7-10 day feedings for these critters.

I thought CA meant Central American....well...after I sat for a few minutes after posting my last post...but even with conservative feeding...wouldn't a Nic/CA eventually reach 6 feet?
