Carolina male finally gets his mate:

Oxyrhopus Oct 25, 2006 10:04 PM

I've had this male for 4 years it seems and he has never even seen another pig much less been with one. This entire last month he has been roaming his cage very frustrated while seeking a female. Well today I was able to land a pair and had a nice large female to boot and put them together and within 10 minutes they were hooked and remained this way for 2 or more hours. He can settle down now.

Nice looking snakes. Tempting but I hear babies can be difficult.
More so for us that do not have access to lots of small frogs.

I agree....just gotta love those red pygmy's! They have the neatest personality; you get a beautiful little rattler with the attitude of a ticked off scutulatus.
