It varies with each animal.

You want her to be at least 1200 to 1500 grams to breed her. Alot of people here will tell you 1500g minimum, but many here breed animals that are 1200g with success.

It usually takes until her third winter to get her to breeding weight, sometimes longer. In some instances, people have reported breeding females by their second winter, but this is not the norm.

Feed her every 5 to 10 days and she should grow nicely. Some people "power feed" their animals more frequently in hopes to make them grom faster. What "power feeding" usually results in is a fat girl that you are trying to breed while shes still very young.

Your best bet is to know your animals feeding habits and use a scale to track their weight. If I have a girl that goes off feed for awhile, I may feed her every three days to get her growing again. On the other hand, if I have a girl thats looking a little "plump", I will slow her feed schedule up a bit.

One thing is certain however, NEVER - EVER, tell her she looks fat, even if she does.
