Lost snake!

i gave my friend my baby jungle carpet and it's now lost. anyways... need some ideas on how to trap the snake. we have no idea when it got out and the house temp is between 70-74 (if that's any help). and yeah, there are 7 cats in the home too.

The bad news: Seven cats.

Unless you had it in a cat free snake room there is little chance you will see this snake alive. The cats will zone in on it as they do-as a plaything and worry it to death.

Your best hope is to lock up the kitties one night and then after the lights have been out a few hours patrol the house with a flashlight. Option two: check any box. shoe, etc...that it may have taken refuge in. Pay special attention to any the cats seem interested in. Just hope it hasn't hid in the walls.
