Just a question

Does anyone elses dragons have lines down their spine. Two of my rather plump girls have an indentation down their spine. I sorta see it in the picture at the top of the forum of Cheri's dragon. Any ideas what it is related to?

yes carrick has a very definitive line, my others do have the line also but not as definitive, it may actually have to do with their plumpness as carrick is my plumpest

you can see it plainly in this pic, eevn goes onto his tail

i woudl say more than likely due to plumpness i see alot of my patients with this line they have more mass above thier spine than below it

i say its a sighn of excelent health

I hadn't noticed it, then one day it seemed overly obvious. It kind of freaked me out. But they were so plump, eating, and acting fine so I didn't do anything. Nice to hear that others have seen it. Just so happens that these two seem to also be slowing down as if going into brumation. One was breedable this year but didn't breed. The other it was her first year and she produced two clutches. The last one a few months ago. Once I know they have clear fecals I will start to cycle them seeing as how they seem to want it. Produce some mid winter babies.
