This is my first iguana. I put a box inside the cage. The question is what to put inside the box? She stop eating regular food 2 weeks ago, I have to feed her papaya, bread and some fruit that I can get hold. I am from Ipoh, Malaysia. Any experience Vet near here? She has prolapse 4 months ago. I have put some stitches around her vent. Surgery needed but do not have information on experience vet whereabouts.

Would this be near you?

This will help you prepare the nesting box:

I've seen you've already been giving her hydrating foods. This is probably the single most important thing. This will allow the eggs to pass easier. Hopefully this will not bring back the prolapse. Just keep your eye on it...which I'm sure you will. It's extremely difficult keeping an exotic when you don't have access to a good vet. Often it's best to ask ourselves if it's best to have the animal when emergency care is not available.

Best of luck and I do hope that vet is close enough to you to help.
