Hey guys, I got a couple female corns that are about 32 in long and are two and a half years old. Should I wait another year or go ahead and cool and breed them? I dont want egg bound snakes!
All opinions welcome.....thanks..RUSS.

Brumating them at 2 to 3 years of age and at a minimal length of 30 inches seems to work well with no problems to their health or reproductive ability.

I agree. I've seen far more large, proven breeders get eggbound than smaller snakes. From what I've seen, a great deal of eggbinding is due to the snake having poor muscle tone (due to being overweight) and being unable to push the eggs out, rather than it being too small to get the eggs out.

Nope. That's my 3-foot earthtone. I don't buy wildcaught (which that 20" Miami was).
