gular edema

Hi, how are you¡¡¡¡¡would you mind explaining me what gular edema is; is this due to the calcium or vitamins ?, thanks everybody; i am worried for my chameleon, thanks again. I send us a photograph when I´m able to do it.

Gular edema is swelling under the chin on the throat area of the chameleon. It is often caused by oversupplementation of certain vitamins (like vitamin A) but there can be other reasons for it as well....I'm rushed at the moment, so I'll try to remember to give you a better answer tomorrow. Remind me if I forget.
