Pro Products?

CaptainHook2 Oct 28, 2006 10:05 AM

I'm trying to find the pro products web site and can't. Basically I'm looking to put the top of the line heating and humidity systems in my new snake cage so I don't have to worry about homemade systems being inadequate. Anyone know the link? Thanx DZ

Thanx, I finally found it. I also talked to a guy I work with here at Andrews who's from Saginaw. He said I better watch myself if I come to see you, he'll arrest me.

LOL, arrest you for coming to see me or for coming into his territory? Does he know something about me I don't, or is it you?

Sorry, can't help you with the thermostat problem.

LOL He was just accepted by the Mi State Police. He's been through basic training, MP training, deployed to numerous hot spots and still has to go through 22 weeks of State Police school. He's a good cop, his name is Brian Helpap. If he every pulls you over tell him I asked for a pass, wait, that might make it worse. JK LOL

I looked at the thermostat controller they sell and I'm not very convinced it's appropriate for the money. Any ideas on a good way to control multiple panels with a more reasonable price range.

I've been using pro product heat panels since almost the time they first began....in all of my years I have yet to find a better heating device. I use them almost exclusively at my home (where I keep/breed black headed pythons, eastern indigos, tri colored hogs, etc.) and my wildlife center where I use them for various boas, pythons, colubrids, crocs, monitors, and all of our venomous. You will not be disappointed.

I know their heat panels are the best, I've installed them in my last 2 cages. I looking to build a cage into a corner in my basement that will be large enough for me to stand in and him lay out. My theory is several shelf basking areas with heat panels about 18 inches above but I will need many to do the job. I was going to make the bottom area the cooler area anf the top the hotter. many branches for climbing to hotter shelves and I would like to put in a pool although the last attempt was not worth it. I want a viewing window big enough for a few people to look in at once and I want to use plants (vines)to hang from the top. I have many ideas, a decent amount of money to pull from and every tool I need. I'm just looking for others opinions on the matter. I need a thermostat that will control multiple panels. I found the herpstat pro but it's over $300. I'm also going to just make a shelf, with an outside door for easy access, to place a standard humidifier on. The ultrasonics get to dirty to fast and require to delicate a cleaning job to keep them running right. I'll use a $10 humidifier from wal-mart on a digital timer. The cage will be fairly sealed to hold heat and moisture and a filtered fan will run for about 10 minutes, twice a day to exchange air. I'm going all out so I want to make sure my ideas will actually work before I start spending money.
