Much cold blooded love today (pics!)

So yea Today i hooked my snake up with a auto-humidifiing thinga-ma-bob.

I bought a "Tropic aire reptile humidifier and air exchange"

and a pump for it. Basically it pumps air through a water/filter thing and into the tanks aquarium to humidify the air in the tank.

Seems pretty nifty and i hooked it up today.

Here are a couple pics of the setup. It was super easy to do and only cost ~30$ from petco.

AND if that wasnt as much fun my girlfriend goes "lets go to the pet store and look at kingsnakes" So i say sure whynot! anything to get her into snakes. So long story short, the same girl that wouldnt go to the reptile side of the pet store with me three weeks ago, bought a 4 month old Rosy Boa today. We brought her home and setup her tank right above my guys.

I cant believe my furry-critter-lov'n girlfriend just bought her very first snake!

So here is Athena

Now here is our snake side of the room. Its growing fast!

Nice! I had to convert my wife. She wouldn't even consider the idea of breeding reptiles when I first brought it up. Now she's the one who unpacks them when they come in the mail! Plus my mother in law won't even come over to the house now that we have 20 snakes. Big Bonus!

My girldfriends mother is not petrified of our appartment at the thought of a snake in the bedroom. She doesnt even KNOW that her baby girl bought her own snake

Im sure im going to be blamed!

Good for you! Unfortunately, I got the big snake (my mother-in-law) living in my basement.

So does that mean the snakes get the spare bedroom and the mother-in-law gets the basement? awsome lol
