hi guys , okay i have a yearling albino nelson [mowgli] and all I have been able to feed him is pinkies. I upped it to two-three pinkies everytime I fed him, and that got to be to expensive! My problem is, the pet stores around here don't carry fuzzies, the next thing they carry our rat pups, which i tried, and it was just to big for him. If i ordered online, I would have to order in bulk- and I only have one snake, so it seems wasteful. I don't know what to do- any suggestions? THANK YOU. -Alex.

I would try looking for snake owners/breeders in the area who raise their own mice, hopefully there is one who is willing to sell you a few every now and then.

Additionally, keep on the lookout for reptile shows. They almost always have frozen feeders for sale.

Thats about all I can think of. If that doesn't work out, you might have to buy online. Shop around and see where you can order the lowest amount of fuzzies.

Is there a PetSmart in your area? They now carry pinks and fuzzies in packs of 3 or 5 which is a new thing for them.

You can go to a reptile show to buy your mice either frozen or live. I don't think I've been to a reptile show that didn't have feeders. Take a small cooler if you are buying frozen. Even if you have to drive a little ways to a show, you will still save on the price you pay for feeders at a store. What area do you live in? Derek

i live in massillon ohio, i'm pretty sure there is a pet smart around here, i had been going to a pet's suppy plus which is right down the street. ill check out the pet smart, and if they don't have any. ill just look for shows in this area. thanks guys =]
