I am currently in the planning stage of a new enclosure for a 10 ft. male burm. I am planning on it being 6ft. long 30 in. deep and 3ft. high. I am currently undecided on heating methods but am very interested in flexwatt heating tape. Was curious if anyone uses it and how well it works for them.

I do not think flexwatt is suitable for a cage that large, particuarly the 36" height. The only ways I'd use it in a cage that large would be if the room temperature was high and I only needed to provide a small amount of supplemental heat.

I would use a radiant heat panel from Pro Products.
