But still enjoyed lots of nice snake pics from EVERYONE, especially Rainer (bluerosy). THANKS TO EVERYONE! I can't wait to get back from overseas so I can post a hundred pics a day, lol!!!

Just for fun: Post pics of ladies' "Snakes-in-hand":
(The lovely lady in this pic is fearless and even helped me put an 11 pound, 74" rattlesnake into a bag one time!). Here she is holding the late "Big John", who was notorious for (infrequently) biting folks without warning, lol!

well, here's my contribution! I'm actually the one that got my fiance into reptiles, I've been keeping snakes and leopard geckos for about 13 years, and he'd only had cats and rats before he met me!

that was a totally gratuitous shot of it, too... my mom had to find out sooner or later, and what better way to break it to her than by distracting her from it with a cute gecko!

I really like your small king with the black on white stripe. Can you tell me more about him/her please. I have a male that is just about a perfect opposite

Thanks for the pic! And congrats to your wife for the accomplishment! It's a HUGE step! My wife used to run just from the sight of a picture of a snake. 8 years later and she held her first one! 22 years later and she's taking care of my collection while I'm overseas AND she willingly bought her first snake EVER, at the Daytona show: A little Apricot Pueblan milksnake! (Took a while), but now she's almost hooked, lol!

Righty-o, then! Here is my lovely wife's hands,(back, you animals)holding a female splendida from Brewster county, Texas, and a few new Thayeri from Chris Garcia, thank you Chris! Boy these gals are squirmy! Sorry for the awful shots in advance! I WILL get better! Then a Texas longnose female from a Brewster county, Texas, and finally This rounds up this years' female additions until after the first, HAHA! The snakes asked not to show Charlotte's face as to put them in a better light! Actually, she declined to be photoed without her makeup, and I couldn't wait that long, LOL! J/K, honey!!! She is an awesome partner in crime!

Older pic of my daughter with her favorite snake in the collection.

Zee - you are lucky to have her. I was amazed at the care she was giving your snakes when I stopped at your house in August.

My wife will not get within 10 feet of one! However - she did think it was funny that I held a 5 foot Eastern King while handing out candy tonight.

heh heh heh

just at the sight of a picture of one! eight years later she finally held her first one! Now - 22 years later she takes care of them AND she went to Daytona and bought her very first snake of her own free will!!! (A little pueblan - you remember that one, don't you?)
That's good that your wife actually accepted the little snake/halloween connection you had! Could it be a first step???
Who knows??? Oh, thanks for that e-mail! Happy (late) halloween!
